Hometown: Alexander Valley

Career History: Joe joined the District in 1997 as a Volunteer Firefighter and became the first full-time employee in 2002. Joe likes living in the community he works in and takes pride in being part of this community.

Joe has served as the President of the Geyserville Chamber of Commerce and the Vice President of the California State Firefighters's Association (CSFA).

Joe is currently Vice President of the Sonoma County Professional Firefighters Local 1401, Vice President of the Northern Sonoma County Fire Foundation, and coordinates the annual fundraiser Wine Country to the Rescue.
